Palestinian trade unions issue an urgent global call to action, calling on workers everywhere to halt the sale and funding of arms to Israel — and related military research.

"We make this call as we see attempts to ban and silence all forms of solidarity with the Palestinian people. We ask you to speak out and take action in the face of injustice as trade unions have done historically. We make this call in the belief that the struggle for Palestinian justice and liberation is not only a regionally and globally determined struggle. The urgent call from workers in Palestine just before the Worker's May Day – 1st of May – is already adopted by various initiatives and organizations around the world to be materialized in all May Day mobilizations and actions.

Bringt Fahnen, Trommeln, Trillerpfeifen, Genoss:innen und Freund:innen. Zusammen gegen Krieg, Kürzungspolitik und rechte Hetze.

Gewerkschaften und Lohnabhängige in die Offensive! Gegen Krieg, Kürzungspolitik und rechte Hetze!

Am 1. Mai wollen wir auch zeigen, dass das Erkämpfen von besseren Arbeitsbedingungen und höheren Löhnen im Hier und Jetzt wichtig ist, aber nicht ausreicht. Unsere Perspektive ist eine befreite Gesellschaft, die nur mit der Überwindung des Kapitalismus verwirklicht werden kann. Das Ziel ist eine sozialistische Gesellschaft, in der die Produktionsmittel nicht länger das Eigentum Einzelner sind und der Profitmaximierung dienen. Wir kämpfen für eine Welt ohne Ausbeutung, Kriege, Umweltzerstörung und Armut.
