»Am Südstern sieht‘s aus, als würde der 1. Mai ausfallen. Alles friedlich, an der Hasenheide nicht mal Parkverbot, paar Oktabblöcke langweilen sich in der Lilienthalstraße. Polizei bittet um Verständnis für „Maßnahmen“. Abends soll hier die „Revolutionäre“ 1. Mai Demo enden.«

Last night in Berlin- thousands take part in the “Take Back the Night” march, a day before May 1st protests.

The organizers stated:

“It’s time to use our anger and fight back against racist, queerphobic, and misogynist harassment on our streets, and the patriarchal society that fuels it. We are not asking to fit in, but taking back what belongs to us!

Let’s fight back against the increasing imperialist authoritarianism and militarism in society: against the racist & patriarchal police violence in our city”
