In the context of International Workers’ Day, May 1st becomes much more than a historical date: it is a meeting point for struggles that cut across territories, bodies, and identities.
In this context, the articulation between Abya Yala and Palestine takes on a particular strength. Both struggles speak to each other through shared experiences of dispossession, colonization, and structural violence, but also through persistence, memory, and the organization of peoples.
May 1st thus becomes a space of convergence between resistances: from the territories of Abya Yala to the Middle East, alliances are woven that challenge capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy as interconnected systems of oppression.
Taking to the streets together is not only an act of resistance, but also a political affirmation that our struggles are deeply interconnected.
From Oranienplatz at 18:00, a collective voice rises across borders: for a free Palestine, against imperialism, and for the power of the people.
