May 1st: International day of struggle
Organize rage, defend joy!

We will meet this Monday May 1st in the streets to demand better working conditions, the right to strike for all workers and to make visible that countries like Germany only exist at the expense of the precariousness of our territories and our bodies.

Alpas Pilipinas:
This coming MAY DAY, we will meet with our friends from @bloquelatino_berlin, @kali_feminists, @die_murgos, @palestinespeaks, @sudanuprisinggermany, @ararat_berlin, @berlinmigrantstrikers, @facqberlin, @jewishbund, and other migrant and anti-colonial groups in Berlin to join the Revolutionary May 1st Demonstration. Migrants make up a quarter of the city’s population, and we demand to be heard!

We call for an end to colonial occupation, imperialist plunder, and imperialist warfare, which force so many of us to leave our families, our communities, and our lands to seek a living in foreign places. We call for an end to the racist border policies that try to divide us into “good” migrants and “bad” migrants. We demand decent housing, livable wages, and safe and secure working conditions. We will bring our collective rage and our collective joy to the streets on May 1st, because despite the fact that the ruling class would like to treat us as disposable bodies, we know that we are the ones who hold up the entire society—and we have the power to remake it.

We also call for international solidarity to demand justice for Manny Asuncion, Dandy Miguel, Alex Dolorosa, and the many other labor leaders who have been brutally murdered for fighting on behalf of the working class in the Philippines. This coming MAY DAY, we will march in their honor.

Este 1° de Mayo: ¡Nos cuidamos entre todxs!
Consideraciones básicas de seguridad colectiva para la demo.

Se acerca un nuevo 1° de Mayo y queremos ser cientos de miles en las calles de Berlín visibilizando las luchas historicas de lxs trabajadorxs. Para eso es fundamental que tengamos en cuenta algunos tips de cuidado colectivo. Aquí van:

Lleva suficiente agua (pero no en botella de vidrio)
Lleva tu documento de identificación y tu tarjeta del seguro de salud.
No lleves alcohol ni drogas contigo, tampoco consumas antes de la Demo (eso para despuecito).
No lleves tu bicicleta en las manos, atala fuera de la columna y mejor lleva un cartel con una frase ingeniosa para enojar a lxs liberales
Lleva ropa y zapatos cómodos (porfi no sandalias).
No lleves a tu mascota
No vayas con niñes. En caso de que tengas que hacerlo te aconsejamos que solo se queden durante la concentración y abandonarla cuando inicie la movilización.
No lleves tu agenda, tu libreta con anotaciones de cómo hacer la revolución, ni tu libro de Rosa Luxemburgo: a los fascistas les encantaría usarlas en tu contra.
Aprovecha que es el único momento en el que hay que evitar vestirse todx de negro en Berlín, sacá a relucir tus prendas de colores (que sabemos que aún tienes).
Intenta avisar a gente de confianza cuando estés en camino a la marcha y cuando regreses a casa.
